Pre and Post Natal Massage

Relaxation during pregnancy has positive results for both mother and baby and increases the chance of a positive birth experience.

Pre-natal specialists Nancy and Mike Samuels recommend women practice deep sustained levels of relaxation for 45-60 minutes, without falling asleep, especially in the last 6-8 weeks of pregnancy, in preparation for labour.

What better way to relax than with a pregnancy massage that is individually tailored to you during and after your pregnancy?

Pregnancy Massage and Myofascial Release also helps treat ailments you may experience as your body changes throughout your pregnancy including; muscle tension in  your back, neck, shoulders, hips or legs; swelling in your hands or feet; cramping; headache; shortness of breath; pelvic pain following childbirth; pain or discomfort from scar tissue following C-sections. (Myofascial work is particularly effective when dealing with scar tissue).

I am clinically trained and insured to work alongside women in all 3 trimesters and am happy to work alongside your midwife and GP.
